Happy (British) Mum’s Day

A recent photo of WoAi with his mum.

Today is Mothering Sunday in the UK, so if any of the Shanghai readers here are from the UK, don’t forget to give your mum a call today.  It’s very easy to forget because in China there’s no indication anywhere of this special day – I think the Chinese tend to follow the US Mother’s Day, which always falls on the second Sunday in May.  In the UK of course, you would not be able to avoid knowing with all the commercials for flowers and chocolates.

A slightly “less recent” picture of WoAi and mum (1971 to be precise and yes, they had colour film back then!).

Happy mother’s day mum, love you lots!
