WoAi Now On Twitter

For Twitter users who want more than my once every few days updates, you can now follow my “tweets” throughout the day. Twitter updates will be more frequent because I can do it from anywhere on my mobile.  There’s also a feed on the side bar (right) if you prefer to check updates on this blog page.

I’m guessing it’s only a matter of time before iSpyShanghai and Dingle Speaks add a Twitter widget to their blogs too.  Just remember where you saw it first!

Coooooool!!! I also just recently got Twitter, I will follow you :) And in shanghai i know exactly where you are and what you are doing. Watch yourself :)

  2. WoAi says:

Shopgirl – I did a great job of avoiding you the last time you visited. I think it’s going to be harder this summer. But I’ll try my best!

  3. shopgirl says:

mwahahahhaa you cannot run away from me >P

  4. WoAi says:

    That’s a scary thought.

When I saw this, I thought about tommy and green giraffe…. and now I know why caturday is on hiatus… tommy is on his honeymoon…..

  7. Heli82 says:

And you’ve just made it easier for the stalkers…

  8. WoAi says:

Ur Rich Uncle – Thanks, YouTube is blocked of course in China but I can probably find a way to have a look a bit later.

Heli82 – Yes, that’s exactly why I joined Twitter. Oh, but Twitter calls them “followers” rather than stalkers. Marketing genius!

Just remember where you saw it first! Robert Scoble’s blog? luckymissxu.com? Jenn Wong’s blog? imagethief’s blog? shoot, I’ve already forgotten.

  10. Seraph says:

The good thing for twitter is you could only post what you want people know about you and makes people think that’s really all of you…lol

  11. Swiss James says:

I’ve given it a week and I find it completely and totally pointless.

    No more twitter for me.

  12. WoAi says:

T – Well, ok, you got me fair and square. In my defense I found the widget before I’d ever seen any of those sites!

Seraph – Yes, good point. There’s a big part of my life I don’t blog about. Or perhaps I do, but on a separate, anonymous blog (don’t try Googling WoAi’s Secret Sex Diaries!).

Swiss – I think it really depends who you have as contacts. I find it the best way to catch up with Enjoy, Shanghaiist etc all in one place, a bit like an RSS feed. If you have no followers or followees, it is pointless. It saves A LOT of time visiting each site / blog separately and you can always click on a link that you feel might be interesting to you.

  13. Swiss James says:

It’s like an RSS feed except not as useful, with no images, only 140 characters, loads of people saying nothing about anything, and people giving away spoilers for episodes of Lost that I haven’t seen yet.

  14. Miss Jane says:

My condolences to you now that are on Twitter! Quit talking to yourself. But I do wish you will heal up soon!
