It was just a few weeks ago that Apple were in hot water with their approved Baby Shaker application for the iPhone which encouraged users to shake a baby till it dies (seriously guys, what were you thinking)! But the controversy hasn’t stopped them approving this “cure for yellow fever” 99 cent application from Stuck Pixel Inc.
The publisher describes the application as follows:
“Cute Asian Girls gives you HUNDREDs of photos of the most beautiful asian girls you have ever seen. Whether you’re looking for Asian girls with weapons, or girls in maid uniforms, or even just the casual girl in a summer dress, we have them all! Our photo collection is growing by the day and will continue growing by the truckload. Every day will introduce new photos for your viewing pleasure.
Download as many asian girl photos as your heart desires for free after you buy the app. Use them as your wallpaper, send them to friends, or set them as your contact’s photos.”
I personally don’t have much use for this. Summer has arrived and young, nubile, scantily dressed Chinese girls can be seen all over Shanghai. It’s awful!
So what do we think of this application? Highly offsensive and degrading Asian “sexploitation” or the coolest thing since sliced bread?

It’s just that at least there’d be a large selection for the bao’ao app even if they aren’t all hot. I’m afraid the generic “hot asian boys (or maybe I should say men)” app would just be stocked with pics of Woai. Woo hoo!

I don’t see why you are comparing it to a baby being shaken to death woai…there’s no similarity at all. No one is getting hurt in this application – I would imagine quite the opposite. The only danger is that the yellow fever could take and even stronger hold over you and you would never be able to go back…..a shame cus there are lots of rather hot looking foreign girls out here in China these days!

Dear Wise, thats a brilliant idea. May I also suggest that you make the app where you are able to upload anyone’s pic so that when you shake it rigorously something grows to a ridiculous size and when you hit them on the head, there are sound effects and the head would swing from side to side, like when you slap someone silly. That would be entertaining. LOL For 99 cents i will buy it!

Wiseman – I like the idea of a male version done by ourselves and I agree it’s going to be a real money spinner. Obviously we can’t charge the same as the Asian babes one as ours will be worth much more. I propose we charge one million dollars.
