That’s right, it’s ready – the very first podcast without WoAi at the helm to steer the discussion in the right direction. Will it be a complete disaster? Can Dingle and Swiss be funny without WoAi? Will there be a song? Will Shopgirl make an appearance finally? Will it be the best podcast ever? The only way to find out is to download and listen NOW. Well strictly speaking, it’s not the only way. You could just wait and see what the comments are like tomorrow, but why wait.
In today’s podcast, the diverse and wide ranging topics include the Vietnam War, alternative medicines, beauty tips, orphan literature, cannibalism, online lesbian dating, and lots, lots more.

Best one ever!
September 23rd, 2009 at 10:06 am
I agree.
September 23rd, 2009 at 11:20 am
I know before I’ve even listened that Shopgirl won’t be in it because she would have gossiped about it on her blog beforehand. Quite why I keep on listening is beyond me. So anyway, downloading now, in the hope that we’ll get to hear Shoppers but knowing that it is not going to happen.

I noticed how much shorter the podcast is when WoAi isn’t around. A good thing?
“Fuckin’ ‘ell” – the swearing appears to have upped. Definitely a good thing. The more swearing the better.
Cambodia sounds great – influenza, naked men, astonishing toilets. It would have been cool if you had done “Holiday in Cambodia” by Dead Kenndys as the song.
“We should get a guest in”
An absurd idea!

woai needs to be in it … the three muskateers
September 23rd, 2009 at 2:11 pm
David, you only listen to the podcast in case Shopgirl speaks? good lord man!! And for your information the podcast isn’t shorter when Woai isn’t around it’s just that time seems to go so much quicker because you’re enjoying it so much!
Anthony, are you one of Woai’s alter-ego’s?
September 23rd, 2009 at 2:33 pm
no, of course not !
Dingle & James have to do something really special
in the next episode !
How about a Tears for Fears, Duran Duran or Wham song ?
you know you want to – lol
September 23rd, 2009 at 2:49 pm
@James – If you’re going to pretend to be someone you have to change your name otherwise it just looks like you’re talking with yourself!
@David – You seem to have Shopgirl figured out. She does often blog about what she’s going to do one day and the next day blog about what she did. I suppose it’s hard sometimes thinking what to blog about.
@Anthony – I agree!
@Dingle – No I think it goes quicker because after the first minute, all the listeners fast forward to the end.

The last two episodes have kinda reminded me of a couple of Beatles songs. During the making of the White album John/George went off on their own to make ‘Glass Onion’, prompting Paul/Ringo to go off and make ‘Do it in the Road’ on their own. Both turned out to be good songs, but the great songs were the ones where the whole band contributed.
Have the last two episodes been good? Yes, but something just doesn’t feel right. The songs in each of the last two episodes continue to be hits, but the banter is much more enjoyable when its a Gang of THREE.
As a loyal Threeniac, I would personally rather see you guys skip a week (or month in this case) here and there and only do shows when all three of you can work that magic together. I have felt dirty and ashamed listening to the last two episodes.

or maybe WoAi could do a call in from London – lol
“Here I am enjoying breakfast – mmm ” – lol
September 24th, 2009 at 3:13 am
I agree, best one yet.
September 24th, 2009 at 4:22 am
@Anthony – LOL!!
September 24th, 2009 at 6:06 am
Listened.
Best one so far.
September 24th, 2009 at 8:01 am
Hopfrog- a month off? That rum isn’t going to drink itself
September 24th, 2009 at 12:46 pm
yeah do a call in next time, will be fun!
September 24th, 2009 at 1:23 pm
‘I agree, best one yet.’
In the Top 10 for sure.
September 24th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
@Hopfrog – I do like you comparing us to The Beatles and I think the parallels are very valid. You’re probably right as well that two can’t ever match 3, especially when I’m the missing one! On the other hand, Robbie Williams has been infinitely more successful as a solo artist.
I’m not sure about having a break though as some listeners I’m sure would prefer quantity over quality!
@Jeffwho – Erm, thanks mate.
@D – Not a bad idea, let’s see if we can work out the logistics as I rarely get out of bed before lunch time.
@David – High praise indeed. I assume you mean the top 10 podcasts that don’t feature WoAi.
September 24th, 2009 at 1:37 pm
@RSeoul – U 2 ? – lol !! – rotfl !!!
September 24th, 2009 at 2:08 pm
Carl’s Jnr is open ?!!
September 24th, 2009 at 2:10 pm
@Anthony – Yes, it is open again.
September 25th, 2009 at 1:20 am

Christ, Jeff here’s the only one talking any sense
September 25th, 2009 at 5:33 am
WoAi- you’re aware that Robbie Williams wasn’t in the Beatles right?
September 25th, 2009 at 6:03 am
[...] new podcast episode is up now. We have no way of telling how many people listen to it you [...]
September 25th, 2009 at 6:33 am
hey jude ……
September 25th, 2009 at 10:22 am
@Dingle – Jeff who?
@James – Of course he was. Haven’t you heard of the fifth Beatle? Anyway, out of the two of us, which one was alive when they were together? I’ll give you a clue – it wasn’t you.
@Anthony – My mum’s called Jude (well, Judy actually).
September 25th, 2009 at 3:35 pm
Jeff Rey I guess
BTW, Dingle definitely CAN sing!!
…u 2, James.
September 25th, 2009 at 3:53 pm
@jeffwho – Yes, I have to be honest and say Dingle di a great job on the vocals. I was a bit surprised because I’ve seen him savage some songs at karaoke before.
September 25th, 2009 at 8:02 pm
Here’s another clue for you all… The Walrus is… Swiss James.
September 25th, 2009 at 11:21 pm
@WoAi – Ah ! – so now you’ll have to sing it in a future
podcast and dedicate it to her !
September 26th, 2009 at 2:46 am
“savage” Woai??? I think you mean “nail”
September 26th, 2009 at 4:41 pm
@Dingle – Er, yes, okay, that’s what I meant. I’ve been in China too long and always get “savage” and “nail” mixed up!
September 28th, 2009 at 6:34 am
I remember it as “Robbie Savage, Jimmy Nail”
September 28th, 2009 at 10:24 am
woai, a piece of writing i did in chinese will probably be the cover story for ‘national geographic traveller’ (shi2 shang4 lv3 you2) for their Nov’s issue, publishing date 23 of Oct. If you are in shanghai and can get hold of a copy
but their choice of photography is terrible. they chose the touristie ones instead of other interesting shots….
