Charlie Mao Caturday

My brother has been visiting for the last two weeks and as you can expect, there’s lots to blog about there, but that can wait as today is Caturday and we have a special guest appearance this week from Charlie Mao, who was looked after by loyal reader and occasional commenter, Heinrich, before he had to return to his home country.

As you can see, she’s a gorgeous animal with the same pure white fur patches that Tommy has (but Hui Hui doesn’t) on her legs and chest.

I must admit, I’ve never seen a cat lamp shade picture like this before. I’m going to try one out on Tommy soon.

These are just a sample of Charlie Mao pictures which I blatantly stole from here if you want to see more.

Thanks Heinrich for sharing and hope all is well in Norway.

No paw licking for this one then.

  2. flutter-by says:

Why the surname “MAO”? How about Tommy Washington and Huihui Obama?

  3. WoAi says:

@Lil bro – I wanna get one of those collars for Tommy just for the fun of it!

@Flutter-by – I am guessing it’s because “mao” is the Chinese word for cat. But I might be wrong!

  4. Heinrich says:

    Aww i miss Charlie :-(

Fortunately, I arrived in SH yesterday and I am totally going to look that pussy up.

Thanks for making Charlie famous, WoAi!

@Heinrich – Welcome back. I’ve always wondered what happens when say, couples split up and pets are involved. It’s bad enough breaking up but never seeing those cute furry guys again would be tough. Good that you are able to look up Charlie. Tommy and Hui Hui say hi!

  6. Heinrich says:

WoAi- Thanks! It’s only for a week though :( In my case we didn’t as much split up as we got separated, but at least Charlie got to go back to live with her previous owners. And i just got word from them that she’s settling in good!

Obviously i’m going to have to get a get-over-Charlie-cat once i get settled in Norway :(

  7. WoAi says:

@Heinrich – Yes, much to my irritation, cats are very adaptable. I came home one day to find Hui Hui purring away on my brother’s lap. And I thought she only liked to sit on MY lap. Felt betrayed!

Be sure to send us pictures of the get-over-Charlie-cat when you get one!
