Lost Heaven

Unusually, I’m spending the Christmas period here in Shanghai as I have already been home to London for the Olympics. The decision to stay was made slightly easier by the fact that for very different reasons, all my close friends are also staying in Shanghai, which is also very unusual.

And so the celebrations started at the weekend with a lovely dinner at Yunnan restaurant Lost Heaven followed by a 3 hour karaoke session and ending with a quick stop at M1NT (it is on the way home after all).

As there were quite a few of us and taxis were scarce, we hopped on a bus to get from dinner to karaoke, which caused quite a lot of bewildered looks from the other passengers as the regular bus transformed in to a party bus.

“No pics from the karaoke?” I hear you ask. Well, I can go one better than that. I’m under strict instructions not to post this to Facebook, but as far as I can tell, nobody has said I can’t post on my blog! The song is of course Akon’s Right Now (Na, Na, Na) from 2008.
